Hawkesbury and Ottawa A $170 block fee applies for the uninsured post-vasectomy kit and services, which are highly recommended.* This kit and services are offered to facilitate your post-vasectomy experience, whether by supporting healing, minimizing discomfort and pain, reducing the risk of complications, expediting your return to normal life, or easing adherence to the post-vasectomy sperm analysis. We genuinely believe it contributes to the overall recovery process and enhances your satisfaction.  The kit includes a scrotal support, sterile gauze, a pre-frozen reusable gel ice pack, 2-octyl cyanoacrylate, non-lubricated specialty condoms, a “double click seal” with indicator collection container, one pre-paid Courier/XpressPost bubble mailing envelope, a physician’s note/form for work absence, access to online medical advice from healthcare professionals, and the ability to obtain prescriptions by phone or fax. The consultation as well as the procedure are covered by OHIP and RAMQ.
*The block fee is $220 for Quebec residents, as it includes the $50 laboratory fee for the post-vasectomy semen analysis performed at a specialized laboratory located in Ontario.
